The primary goal of the 'Cybersecurity Made in Europe' label is to function as an industry-driven marketing tool, promoting qualified European-based cybersecurity companies and enhancing their commercial visibility beyond their traditional home markets. Additionally, the label aims to raise awareness among users, business partners, and investors about the strategic value of European cybersecurity companies that operate based on trustworthy European values.
To be eligible for the Label, European companies must correspond to the following criteria:
•Their headquarters are in Europe;
•They are not significantly owned or controlled by entities outside of Europe;
•Europe is their main business location, with over half of their cybersecurity R&D activities and staff based there;
•They offer reliable cybersecurity products and solutions, as outlined in ENISA’s 'Indispensable baseline security requirements for secure ICT products and services';
•They comply with European data and privacy standards, as specified by the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We are thrilled to have been awarded the ECSO label and appreciate the values it signifies. Being a part of European community and combining knowledge, experience and efforts with other cybersecurity experts is a key to combating the highly sophisticated threats that cybercriminals may pose.
